The United States of America and the Republic of India will host the eighth annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Hyderabad, India on 28-30 November, 2017. This year’s Summit will highlight the theme “Women First, Prosperity for All”, and will focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally. Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump will headline the United States delegation to the Summit while Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will head the Indian delegation to the Summit.
Four Nexus supported startups including Whitecub, Docturnal, Droit Health and S4S Technologies are selected out of thousands of applications to participate in GES. This will provide a global platform and a great networking opportunity to these startups.
GES is the preeminent annual entrepreneurship gathering that convenes emerging entrepreneurs, investors and supporters from around the world. GES 2017 will create an environment that empowers innovators, particularly women, to take their ideas to the next level. GES empowers entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, build partnerships, secure funding, innovate, and find their target customers

WhiteCub is India’s first healthy dairyfree foods brand specializing in producing and selling dairy alternatives to ice creams, yogurts and milks, with the focus being on ice creams for now. WhiteCub DairyFree Icecreams are creamy and have a texture and taste appeal similar to dairy laden ice creams. Currently, WhiteCub is available in fifty five retail stores across four metropolitan cities.
Docturnal provides healthcare screening and diagnostics for various ailments in a non-invasive manner offering real time results leveraging AI/ML. The flagship product TimBre is used for easy and proactive screening of tuberculosis by processing the cough sample of a suspect.
S4S Technologies is a for-profit, research based enterprise, highly focused on developing sustainable food preservation technologies. S4S is present at multiple points in the food value chain, right from developing the food processing technology, manufacturing food processing machines and sale of processed food. Solar Conduction Dryer (SCD) is S4S’s flagship product which is so far being used by 1200+ farmers in eight countries. SCD is used for dehydration of a range of agri-food products suitable for farm and commercial operations.
Droit Pay is a digital wallet that is used exclusively for healthcare payments. Its built-in integration with major telecom companies and banks allows for easy digital payments, and innovative financing solutions like passive savings, automatic insurance and peer to peer funding, all of which will make healthcare much more affordable to our customers.
The selected startups were part of the Nexus Pre-Incubation program, an intensive 10 week business mentoring program to help startups to successfully enter the market and scale up their businesses.
