Completed model projects for RVNL and TE Connectivity
Morphedo, which is currently incubated at Nexus, is an online 3D printing services platform for rapid prototyping and customized part manufacturing for businesses. They work closely with 300+ companies across India changing the way products are being manufactured. The team assists businesses in rapid prototyping and small batch production across a wide range of industries like IOT, robotics, drones, packaging and heavy engineering, reducing their go-to-market time.
Morphedo is trusted by clients like the Indian Navy, the Indian Air Force, Mahindra Defence, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, Oakter and Lattice Innovations.
The team has recently completed two model projects for Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and TE Connectivity. RVNL is a Government of India enterprise which builds engineering works for Indian Railways, while TE Connectivity designs and manufactures sensors for harsh environments.
A scaled down 3D printed terrain model was made to assist with a new Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail line project. Mr. Bhanu Prakash, General Manager of the project RVNL, praised the team for the detailed workmanship demonstrated by their model.
TE Connectivity ordered a 3D printed roofline and train model for showcasing their product “Panto Roofline Rolling Stock” to prospective clients and investors at a five-day exhibition at Elecrama’18. The roofline was scaled down by six times and was printed using a 3D printing technology called SLS (Selective Laser Sintering).
