Nexus-powered cybersecurity startup Matisoft recently won first runner-up in the “Startup Pitch-in Challenge” held by IIM Lucknow to recognise the best Indian startup at UPStartup Conclave.

In this mega-event over 420 startups applied, out of which only 118 were shortlisted to participate. On September 15th, the shortlisted 118 startups went through the first round of pitching, and only 30 advanced to the final round. Of these 30 finalists, Matisoft Cyber Security Labs was awarded first runner-up. Congratulations to Varun Seth of Matisoft for a great showing!

Matisoft is using artificial intelligence to build antivirus software that thinks like a human cyber security expert, which enables it to achieve double the accuracy at three times the speed of a conventional antivirus. Matisoft was incubated at Nexus in the third cohort.
