Nexus supported startup GnomikX has been selected as a finalist for the International Business Model Competition. Gnomikx is the only Indian team to qualify as a finalist and will be competing with teams from around the world.

In addition to being flown to the United States with all expenses paid, GnomikX has been awarded a cash prize of $2500. The finals will be held at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah on the 10-11th of May.

The International Business Model Competition (IBMC) was founded by Brigham Young University in 2010 and is said to be the first and largest lean-startup competition of its type in the world. Forty student led startups who were selected from a pool of thousands of teams that competed in IBMC-affiliated competitions around the world will compete for over $150,000 in cash prizes during the finals.

GnomikX was one of 11 startups that were selected from over 175 applicants to be part of the 3rd cohort of the Nexus pre-incubation program.
