The United States and India will co-host the eighth iteration of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) November 28-30 in Hyderabad. As a part of the Road to GES series of programs, Nexus in collaboration with American Center hosted a panel discussion titled “Women Entrepreneurs: Breaking the Glass Ceiling” on November 21, 2017.

The panel featured Divya Rajput, Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow; Avni Parekh, Founder and CEO, LoveDoctor, Sheroes; and Stuti Jalan, Founder and CEO, Crosshairs Communication. The event saw participation from eminent women leaders and provided a platform to discuss the stories of successful women entrepreneurs.

The panel discussion focused on how the entrepreneurial zeal of new age women in India is breaking the societal barriers and moving ahead in various entrepreneurial ventures by challenging the status quo. Avni Parekh and Stuti Jalan also shared their inspirational stories of becoming women entrepreneurs. They also provided practical advice to women entrepreneurs for successfully running a business.
