Nexus Director Erik Azulay was invited to judge pitches by women entrepreneurs during the launch of the All India Roadshow on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Entrepreneurship (AIRSWEEE) 2.0, a program run by TiE Global to support women startups throughout India.

AIRSWEEE is TiE Global’s marquee women’s entrepreneurship program, supported by the US Embassy in India, that seeks to not only economically empower women but also promote gender equity and boost their self-confidence.

Over 450 entrepreneurs were selected as part of the AIRSWEEE 2.0 program this year and 125 from its previous edition in 2016.

Erik judged the 60-second ‘elevator pitch’ session for 25 of the AIRSWEEE 2.0 mentees chosen from cities all over India, including Lucknow, Patna and Bhubaneswar.
